Album review: Daily Thompson bond over release of a brand-new record ‘Glue’

By Sonny Tyler August 20, 2026

This band is a new one to me, but they've obviously been around for a while, as 'Glue' is Daily Thompson's 7th album release. Musically inspired by late 80"s/early 90's grunge music, 'Glue' was recorded at the aforementioned HQ of grunge in Port Orchard, Seattle. The tone of the album, right down to the cover art, feels autumnal, and these often unpredictable songs have a Continue Reading

It’s about time the world caught up with Norfolk’s own: Amongst Strangers. These East Anglian street punks dished up their banging five-track EP ‘Strength of a Few’, at the tail end of last year. Album review: Shreds. – ‘Floorshow’

By Alex Goose July 28, 2026

Put simply, this is Shreds doing what they do even better than they did before, and they weren't exactly slouches in the first place. As a snapshot of just how healthy UKHC is right now, you could do a lot worse than ‘Floorshow’, and as hardcore albums of the year go, it will take some beating.Continue Reading
