Preparing ourselves for the long-awaited new Interrobang album, I'm ahappy to report it's a rather special one. A band made up of Dunstan Bruce (vocals) and Harry Hamer (drums) of the late great Chumbawamba, with added Stephen Griffin (ex-Regular Fries) on guitar and keyboards/sequencing, 'Rethink Everything' feels like a vital album to me (especially at the moment) and Continue Reading

Based out of Santa Cruz in California (USA), Good Riddance are no strangers to the melodic punk scene, and over the decades, they have more than left their mark. 'Before The World Caves In' is the band's 10th studio album, and the first one in 7 years. This latest release out on 27th March on Fat Wreck Chords actually coincided with the No Kings marches that went on Continue Reading

This is the band's 5th album, and I'm happy to report that Evil Blizzard do not get any less interesting. Hard-working, train-based band Eastfield are certainly no strangers to the DIY punk scene, and it's great to see them releasing a brand new self-titled album for our delectation. This is their second release on Grow Your Own Records, and it's an impressive one at that. Eastfield sing songs of a generally socio-political nature, but are also not scared to enjoy fun and Continue Reading

Bratakus are usually accompanied by a drum machine, but on this recording, they have a human tub thumper onboard, in the form of Tommy Duffin who is also their producer. It all adds up to a beefed-up Continue Reading

Be sure to watch out for something interesting going on in the big smoke at the moment, because they go by the name of Rites Of Hadda. 'Inevitable Machete' is the band's 4th album. “This album is for the outsiders, the witches, the weirdos, the resistors” says front-person Wasperella, “It’s a scream against the machine, but also a reminder that tongue-poking fun, fury and Continue Reading

There is something going down in Yorkshire at the moment, and they go by the name of goo. Based in Keighley, this 4-piece outfit has been releasing music and gigging their way through the UK and Europe since 2022. 'Payday' is the lead single from the band's new album, and that particular long player should be with us by next summer. If the rest of the album is as good as Continue Reading
