Punk rock track 'No Thank You for The Music' is about defiance and pride in the underground.
Frank Turner wrapped up the final mixes for his tenth album in October and he’s now shared the first taste of them.
New track ‘No Thank You for The Music’ continues in the vein of the punk rock tracks to be found 2022’s ‘FTHC’.
Now in his forties, Turner said the track is “a song about defiance, rejection of mainstream culture, pride in the underground, and staying angry as you get older”.
Having capped a typically busy 2023 working with The Meffs on their second album, Turner brings his seventh Lost Evenings residency to Toronto in September, when the four-night run will include a ‘hard core’ day with songs from the new album and a punk rock set.
