Legendary punk rock band Dead Kennedys are set to perform their first shows since the passing of drummer DH Peligro. The tour, titled "DHPower" as a tribute to Peligro's 40 years with the band
Dead Kennedys, the legendary American punk rock band, are set to perform their first shows since the recent passing of their drummer, DH Peligro. The tour dates are scheduled for May 2023 and will take place in the UK and Ireland. The band had already booked the tour last year, and out of respect for their fans who had already purchased tickets, they decided to honor their commitment and move forward with the dates.
The tour has been titled “DHPower” as a tribute to the more than 40 years that DH shared the stage with his bandmates. Santi Guardiola, a long-time friend of DH and the band, will be filling in on drums for the tour. While the shows will be bittersweet without DH, Dead Kennedys hope that fans will remember him as the driving force behind their iconic sound.

For Irish fans, Dead Kennedys’ tour date in Ireland is May 20, 2023, at The Academy in Dublin. The band said they are is excited to perform in the UK and Ireland, places that have always held a special significance in their history.
The loss of DH Peligro was a huge blow to the punk rock community, and Dead Kennedys’ decision to continue with their tour is a testament to their dedication to their fans and their music.
