Tenth album will be out in May and "feels like a new chapter".
Frank Turner will release ‘Undefeated’ in May and says his 10th album is all about survival and defiance.
He’s already released the first taste of the new collection with ‘No Thank You For The Music‘ and follows that with ‘Do One’ – the first song on the album and the last to be written for it.
He said the new album also feels like something of a new chapter, as he steps away from the major label world to work with both a global independent label setup and a new band line up of Sleeping Souls to back him up.
“I feel very fortunate that I’m still making records and touring – fortunate and proud. The record is fired by that feeling, and a new sense of energy and liberation.
“It feels like a new chapter for me … returning with a slightly bewildered sense of gratitude that I’m still standing, still have something to say.”
The 14-track ‘Undefeated’ is out May 3 on Xtra Mile Recordings and follows Frank Turner‘s first UK number one album with 2022’s ‘FTHC’.
