A savage, cinematic takedown of false idols, hollow power, and blind devotion
The third single from Gypsy Pistoleros‘ forthcoming new album, ‘Dark Faerie Tales‘, ‘King of Almost Everything‘ arrives with a brand-new video. A savage, cinematic takedown of false idols, hollow power, and blind devotion – “Almost everything… is still almost nothing.”
A rallying cry for the disillusioned, the track cuts deep into the mythology of modern authority: “We crown the wrong kings and call it salvation, Follow wolves in borrowed halos straight into damnation…”
Dark. Defiant. Unapologetically confrontational. This is Gypsy Pistoleros at their most dangerous – pulling crowns from heads and setting fire to the throne:
Gypsy Pistoleros are the world’s only Glam Punk Goth ’n’ Roll band – a volatile collision of punk grit, gothic decadence, outlaw glamour, and pure incendiary rock’n’roll. How do you follow one of the most electric underground rock statements in recent memory? You don’t play safe.
You go bigger. Darker. Louder.
‘Dark Faerie Tales‘ plays out like myth carved into neon splatter vinyl:
- Churches burn
- Saints fall from grace
- The beautiful misfits rise — glittered, defiant, unbroken

Headliners Dolium manage to hold their own. There’s something brilliantly fried about the veteran Sheffield trio; their songs sound like they could have been written
Usually found jumping around down the front at gigs, I also relish taking photos and videos, singing, speaking with fellow music fans, and asking musicians the questions nobody else does. Writing about my favourite bands and connecting with people who love music too keeps me more-or-less sane! I’ve worked for over 25 years at a video production company, mainly filming live music events, therefore I have an additional backstage perspective on the scene.

Did you know that we are 100% DIY? We run our own game. No one dictates to us, and no one drives what we can or cannot put on our pages – and this is how we plan to continue!
