Get into spooky season with former The Damned guitarist/keyboardist
As you may have noticed, we can’t get enough of The Damned here at Punktuation! A key member of The Damned’s gothic era lineup, Roman Jugg wrote or co-wrote much of the material from ‘Phantasmagoria‘ and ‘Anything‘. He was also a member of Naz Nomad & the Nightmares and co founder of the Phantom Chords with Dave Vanian.
This dynamic new lineup of the The Roman Jugg Band, which features Roman on lead vocals and guitar, with Dave and Fi Dulake from The Tuppenny Bunters on drums / keyboards & vocals, Pat McNamara on bass/BV’s, and Paul Bedford on guitar/BV’s will be performing songs from Roman’s time with The Damned and also his wider musical career.
The band’s Halloween run takes in Newcastle, Hull and Manchester, including a special matinee performance at Manchester’s Star & Garter.

There’s also a show in Brighton next April, with further Spring 2027 tour dates to be announced in York, Derby, Southend on Sea and London!

Usually found jumping around down the front at gigs, I also relish taking photos and videos, singing, speaking with fellow music fans, and asking musicians the questions nobody else does. Writing about my favourite bands and connecting with people who love music too keeps me more-or-less sane! I’ve worked for over 25 years at a video production company, mainly filming live music events, therefore I have an additional backstage perspective on the scene.
