The inventive Punks examine what's been put into your head..
A four-piece melodic punk rock band hailing from Ashington in Northumberland, LoGOz was formed in 2012 by main man Peesh (vocals & guitar) through a love of The Wildhearts / Rancid / Ramones to name but a few! Joined by Paul (guitar & backing vocals) Kieran (bass) and Danny (drums) the band quickly gained a strong local following and became regulars on the Northeast England gig circuit.
LoGOz have played over 350 gigs around the country, with the likes of Dirt Box Disco / The Rezillos / Anti-Nowhere League and The Wildhearts, as well as numerous festivals over the years. The band also gig as a two-piece acoustic act, in addition to Peesh writing and performing as a solo artist.
The band are looking forward to unleashing their brand-new EP ‘Method is Madness’ on 19th February 2026 – and it’s their most diverse release yet!

Title track ‘Method is Madness’ opens with an Adam and the Ants-esque drum pattern, before the guitar kicks in with a similar rhythm. LoGOz are right on topic about the current state of the world with the chilling refrain “How do you feel when the lies are replacing your truth?”:
‘Escobar’ is likely a reference to the “King of Cocaine”. Pablo Escobar was one of the wealthiest criminals in history via his drug cartel, which monopolized the cocaine trade into the US in the 1980s and early 1990s. A frantic and hard-rockin’ song about the bittersweet allure and ultimate downfall of a lifestyle built upon drugs.
Punk thrasher ‘Destroy The Android’ is my favourite – it highlights how hatred and bigotry are constantly spewed into our minds via screens, while we mindlessly consume mainstream and social media. It’s an absolute banger to boot!
Final track ‘Subversion’ fights back against the demons inside your head which have been placed there without your consent. A powerful song with lyrics you have to listen to, and encompassing a dazzling assortment of time signatures, Peesh’s guitar work is exceptional here.

Usually found jumping around down the front at gigs, I also relish taking photos and videos, singing, speaking with fellow music fans, and asking musicians the questions nobody else does. Writing about my favourite bands and connecting with people who love music too keeps me more-or-less sane! I’ve worked for over 25 years at a video production company, mainly filming live music events, therefore I have an additional backstage perspective on the scene.
