The Linda Lindas are back in action and have just dropped their latest single, ‘Too Many Things’ – their first single for 2023.
The teen punk band, who first came to prominence when their performance of ‘Racist, Sexist Boy’ at the Los Angeles Public Library went viral in May 2021, has been pretty busy over the past year, playing shows all over the place, from the USA to Spain, Germany, England, Japan, Canada, and Mexico. That’s a lot of travelling!
After taking a breather to focus on school and get back into the studio, they’re finally ready to share some new music with their fans.
Their newest toon ‘Too Many Things’ is a pop punk track that runs for a tight two and a half minutes. It’s all about a relationship that’s falling apart, so if you’re going through something similar, this song might just hit the spot.
In 2022, The Linda Lindas came out with their first album called ‘Growing Up,’ which was followed by some killer singles like ‘Lost in Thought,’ a collab with Kathi Wilcox and Erica Dawn Lyle from Bikini Kill and Vice Cooler from The Raincoats, a cover of The Go Go’s classic ‘Tonite’, and a festive tune called ‘Groovy Xmas.’
Later this month, they’re hitting the road and will be performing at Coachella and opening for Paramore’s North American shows.
