SoCal pop-punk band Dream Racer have dropped their brand new single, 'Save Your Breath.' The anthemic track delivers an uplifting message of overcoming any obstacle that life throws at you and working on creating a better reality for yourself.
Speaking on the song, drummer Michael Raso says, “‘Save Your Breath’ is the beginning of what Dream Racer seeks to bring to the music scene; a fresh take on pop-punk utilising anthemic hooks and driving instrumentals. With positive lyrics about navigating life and relationships, ‘Save Your Breath’ tells a story about creating one’s reality and deconstructing the lies we’ve been fed.”
The band also has an accompanying music video for the track, directed by Kilo Alexander & Casey Wieber. With special effects by Weiber, the clip builds on the song’s theme as the band plays the world around.
You may not have heard of DREAM RACER yet but this SoCal group of four best friends are quickly emerging into the ever-growing pop-punk scene. Led by frontman Robert Rodello and joined by guitarist Manny Arrendondo, bassist Anthony Bueno + drummer Michael Raso, DREAM RACER is on a mission to deliver inspiring music with heartfelt hooks and passionate performances.
Pulling inspiration from Blink 182 and Dashboard Confessional to The Cars and even Taylor Swift, DREAM RACER is creating its fresh sound rooted in a punk rock upbringing.
‘Save Your Breath’ is out now and is the band’s first new piece of music following the release of their 2021 debut EP, Gloomy Eyes.
