The eerie Swedish rock and horror sensation have four brand new tracks to start off 2023.
Spring may be in the air but every day can be Halloween if you’ve got bands like The Dahmers on your playlist.
It’s a hellride with bats, spiders and pumpkins with these new killer tunes, but as well as the darkly fun aesthetic to the band, there’s a fantastic sound that comes with them.
Mixing the best of garage punk, classic rock and jangly 60s pop, The Dahmers have a cool retro sound mixed with style and lyrics inspired by classic horror movies.
But it’s not horror punk kitsch, there’s an emotional depth to their songs that are reflected in their more melodic musical arrangements and tracks about frustration, solitude and alienation.
Their new four track EP- ‘Ghouls in the Garage‘- is just under 9 minutes of garage pop perfection: catchy, riff driven, sing-a-long blasts of swagger.
The Dahmers hail from Sweden, forming in 2011 by members Rasmus Grahn (guitar, vocals), Christoffer Karlsson (guitar, vocals), Karl-Oskar Hansson (drums), Tobias Age Augustsson (bass).
