New York punk ‘Supergroup’ release 4th single and music video from debut album

Now that Valentine’s Day has come and gone we are suddenly hit with a flood of tracks about love. Who knew that punks were so romantic? The latest offering comes from the New York ramonescore punk band Pep Talk with their new single ‘Dumb Love‘ off their excellent debut album ‘Live, Laugh, Lobotomy’.

Consisting of members of The Young Rochelles, Sketchy and Weird Skins, this band likes to keep things short, sharp and melodic. ‘Dumb Love‘ is an infectious sing-a-long over a simple chord structure that is driven by a fast drumbeat. They somehow manage to ride the line between sweet and tough with their sound and feature crafty, relatable lyrics. In case anyone wasn’t aware of the song title, the band literally spells it out for you.

If you are a fan of the Ramones, Screeching Weasel or Teenage Bottlerocket, Pep Talk is a band you need to hear.

‘Live, Laugh, Lobotomy’ is available via Hey Pizza! Records or Bandcamp, check it out now!
