And here are all the reasons why the show with this top trio of artists will be unmissable:
The inaugural show on Saturday 22nd November 2025 at this new venue for Undercover Promotions promises to be an absolute cracker! Iconic punk, dub, rock & reggae masters Ruts DC shall hit Surrey on the second night of their Live + Electric 2025 tour, playing a two-hour set. It’s also the 45th anniversary of the RuTs‘ second album ‘Grin and Bear It’, so expect to hear some lesser-played-live tracks from that, at a show filled with music and musings aplenty! People Unite as Ruts DC bring the songs, the sound, and the unity back to the stage.
As if that alone wasn’t enough, those wonderful WitchDoktors shall be supporting them, as part of their own album release tour for the fantastic ‘IZZATSO?‘ which dropped on 31st October this year!
Anyone who’s seen a ‘Doks show already knows how much fun this is gonna be – and if you haven’t, it’s the perfect opportunity! Two of the songs on ‘IZZATSO?‘ feature a certain guest guitarist from Ruts DC.. will Leigh Heggarty be joining WitchDoktors on the stage this Saturday, I wonder..?
Joe Bitter is a local hero to many, with his exceptional songwriting and performance, telling it like it is with his biting lyrics. If you loved his band Emergency Bitter, this is now your only way to still hear those songs, after the band sadly called it a day earlier this month..
Door open at 6.30pm, so you’ve plenty of time for a drink and a chat, before Joe will take to the stage at 7.15pm. Ruts DC will finish by 11pm – public transport runs late, and it’s very easy to get to Esher Theatre – more information HERE. DJ Trev Bossom will be spinning discs between bands, ensuring that the music never stops!
Tickets are available online HERE, or in person at Sounds of the Suburbs Record Store. Grab yours now, it’ll be more on the door.. See you at the bar or down the front for a top night of punk rock ‘n’ roll!

Usually found jumping around down the front at gigs, I also relish taking photos and videos, singing, speaking with fellow music fans, and asking musicians the questions nobody else does. Writing about my favourite bands and connecting with people who love music too keeps me more-or-less sane! I’ve worked for over 25 years at a video production company, mainly filming live music events, therefore I have an additional backstage perspective on the scene.
