Incisions Release Incendiary New Track Gasoline

Manchester hardcore punks Incisions have shared their first new track since 2021’s storming second album Bliss.

Gasoline sees the UK band in fine form, packing inventive guitar lines, pummeling drums and snarling bass into its one-minute, thirty-eight seconds, as singer Jordan tackles the state of modern life, disaffection and stepping “outside the darkest corners of a poisoned mind”,

The single was recorded and mixed, like Bliss, by Joe Clayton at the Pijn and former Old Skin guitarist’s No Studio DIY recording studio in Manchester.

Later this month, Incisions will support Discharge on their 40 Years of Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing tour, joining Bristol and Exeter dates on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30.

Before that, Incisions play the last day of the Manchester Punk Festival on Sunday, April 17 – promising “new classics and old classics”. The Festival’s series of weekend shows will also feature Jeff Rosenstock, Belvedere, Roughneck Riot, Svalbard, Witch Fever, Pizzatramp and many more.
