Fancy seeing a bit of spoken word at your punk festival? No? What if it was by former Black Flag frontman and all-round punk legend Henry Rollins? We thought so!
Rebellion Festival takes place every year in Blackpool, England and is a favourite date in the calendar for punks from the UK and beyond. Along with almost every other event we were looking forward to in 2020, but it had to be rescheduled due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Despite this disappointment, the line up for the new 2021 dates is very impressive. Henry Rollins joins other confirmed performers such as Sham 69, Cockney Rejects, UK Subs, Bar Stool Preachers and many more so tickets are going to be in high demand.
Henry Rollins is best known as the frontman for US hardcore legends Black Flag in the 80s but has got many other feathers to his bow including; acting in films and TV, a successful radio show, bestselling books and of course, his spoken word tours. It is his spoken word performance that he will be bringing to the 25th anniversary year of the Rebellion Festival.
The Rebellion Festival 2021 is taking place across the weekend of 5th-8th August, 2021 at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
