Boston Punks, Baabes, unleash an anthemic, sleaze-drenched anthem of a single

BAABES - punktuation

Boston’s own garage punk-n-rollers BAABES have today released their new single ‘Greaseballs To Glitters’ with an accompanying video via Riot Records.

Greaseballs To Glitters’ is the first single from their upcoming full-length release. The hard drums and loud, distorted guitars keep a cool-as-hell groove moving, while the howling and provoking vocals let you know how much you’re all going to be needing what these punks have.  It’s MC5, it’s New York Dolls, it’s The Stooges… it’s BAABES!

Baabes are an American ‘sleazy, garage punk rock n roll’ band by every stretch of the imagination. Hailing from Boston, MA, this four-man crew plays high energy, stripped-down, distorted guitar-heavy punk with hard drums and howling vocals.  “

Baabes have that nasty rock ‘n’ roll attitude and the chops to back it up. They have style and swagger. They are catchy, confrontational and chaotic. They deliver raunchy, powerful and raw rock like the classic glam bands of the ’70s, like The Stooges and the New York Dolls.

They first made a name for themselves off of their turbulent live shows, and then after their self-released EP in 2019. Since then, they’ve put out a number of singles from their upcoming High Demand Trash EP, which you can find on most places you go for your listening needs.
